Password Protected Winrar
Is there any way to neutralize a password for a Winrar containing individual images and the Winrar asks for the password each time you click on the the next image to view, time after time, after time...

Extract them all before you start viewing? Or have I missed the point?

I guess I could extract the entiregroup on the fist request for the password. Is there any way to turn off the password after getting the winrar open? |

I don't know of such a way. I don't understand why, when you've entered the password 2 or 3 times yet still want to see more, you don't think it's worthwhile waiting while the entire archive is extracted.
The reason you have this problem is because the image viewer is really viewing a temporary extracted file, in a different location to where you appear to be browsing. However, if you were willing to pay (after the free trial period), you could use this shareware viewer: http://www.faststone.org/FSMaxViewDetail.htm I haven't tried it myself, mind.

Once you have set up a password list & linked it to winrar you should never have to enter that password again ?

For quickly browsing through a zip or rar file with a large number of images you can also use a cbr reader like cdisplay ex (cdisplayex.com) since a cbr file is in essence a rar file.
For pasword protected files you only need to enter the password when opening the file. |

right click on the rar, and extract them all to a folder......period. It'll ask you
for the password to extract the files, they'll extract to that folder, then you'll not have to fool with it any more. What you're doing....is trying to view individual pictures, before they're even extracted within the winrar program. Don't do that. |
