I'm a Bur Oak tree. I'm not as pretty as most other oaks. My one redeeming feature is that I have a very thick, wide trunk, and I live for a very long time. Most other oak trees live about 500 years. I can live up to over 1,000 years.

This is my local train-The Metra Electric that serves the south side of Chicago. This is part of a whole fleet of new trains that have rest rooms in the cars, doors that automatically open at the touch of a button, very good seats that provide good back and thigh support and an electronic voice that announces the upcoming stop!

Hi. I'm Oskee the squirrel. I live in Illinois. Illinois has three types of squirrels: gray, grayish red and black. Squirrels have great lives. Though we live for only 5-7 years we make our nest in trees(the nest is not only for raising our young, but it's where I sleep every night and where I store extra food I happen to find on the ground). There are not many natural predators for squirrels and I can climb up and down a tree superfast to get away from a house cat or dog or fox. When a predator tries to run me down on the ground it often can't catch me because I move quite fast in a zig-zag pattern which the predator can't do and also I am never to far from a tree. I can eat anything. I love nuts, berries, and flower petals, and I can eat any human food that gets thrown out. It's often quite funny going into a human garbage can to find a partly eaten pizza only for the human to come out of his dwelling yelling at me.

If you've ever watched squirrels, you'll know that red squirrels are much more aggressive than gray squirrels, and always win in a showdown. Shrieky little buggers.

Your squirrel is gray, mine is red, therefore I win.
