Found an old interview for the TV Series Bonkers..
FORMER Oxo ad mum Lynda Bellingham says that her sons hated her doing raunchy love scenes in new ITV1 comedy drama Bonkers. Lynda, 58, plays a randy housewife who seduces her 20-year-old neighbour Tim played by Charles Aitken in the new six-parter about sex in suburbia. The actress, who is mum to Michael, 23, and Robbie, 20, said: “Michael was horror struck by the storyline. They are both always bad about my love scenes.” In the show Lynda’s character Mrs Wadlow has her wicked way with over-sexed student Tim when she discovers him naked in the garden trying to get away from a rottweiler!” Lynda laughed: “She’s left alone a lot by her husband and she hasn’t got a lot to entertain her so she decides the neighbourhood needs a gigolo so she seduces Tim. “What shocks him is that she hands him money after the sex. Then she decides to share him with her friends.” She added: “I did a play recently which had a sex scene and Robbie refused to come and see the play which is fair enough. No-one wants to see their mother doing a scene like that on stage! “But Michael braved it and enjoyed the play. I think the idea that your mother is synonymous in any possible way with sex is just horrible for them. But they are supportive generally.” Co-star Charles is full of praise for Lynda. He said: “Lynda’s such a sexy lady. You can imagine how a young boy would be drawn in by her charms. But everyone was shocked when I told them that my character gets to s**g Lynda Bellingham.” So Bonkers anyone ??  |
