That's what I've been finding too. There is an EP vinyl with it on, as well as the album.

Just happened to catch that an episode of the classic sci-fi series "The Invaders" is screening today, and the episode synopsis mentioned a stripper. Sure enough I found the episode on YouTube. OK, as family entertainment the actual strip isn't anything to get excited about but the music is unique and rather nice

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiXWXiwLuBg

The strip starts at 7:26

Nice find what's great about it is the music doesn't have dialogue over the top, save for the crowd noises associated with the performance. Always a plus in my book!

Hi all, don't know why I didn't think of this sooner, but have been identifying a lot of tracks using Shazam. It even gives you links to itunes to buy the tracks, should they be available.

Hi these two may not be considered as CLASSIC but worse a mention here.
The first one was actually made for the saturday night playmate of the colaro show (French TV program on 80-90s)...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TIY9Q96TVk
The second again pretty different works well also in a more languorous kind of strip (experience that one whith a cam girl...)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGoj0jxd7PI
So many music (not especially intended for strip), which would be good for dancing, would obviously work for stripping.

Not only that, but it is from an album called "Porno Soundtraxxx" which has another striptease number on it called "Stripper's Delight" which is just as good.

I just played it into Shazam and up came the answer

Such a useful tool! Now, if only I could find copies of Zita's music and the Carry On Stripper Theme......

Something for the real aficionados here: I just managed to put a name to two different, but less common arrangements of The Stripper (in addition to the classic David Rose original).

The first crops up fairly infrequently and is credited to John Warrington. It has a "dreamy" section in the middle. Example here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTQiGJ6dq_w

The second is far more rare and appears to be an arrangement specifically for concert bands, by Robert (or Bob) Lowden. It has a different intro and a drum and horns break in the middle. Example here form the Leeds University Orchestra:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6o-Cr25WU2M

Both add an extra "verse" onto the original, as well as the additional middle section, making them around a minute longer than the David Rose original.
