The 'unknown' clip has never got a 100% positive ID but the suggestion is that it is from the 1983 BBC TV series 'The Gathering Seed'. If any VEFer can name the male actor in this short and mute clip then that should nail it - could that be a young David Threlfall? Credit to OP of course.

Updated 30 June - 'reading67' has kindly provided ID for the male actor as Dave Hill therefore this is definitely 'The Gathering Seed'.
