Disruptive Pattern Combat Uniform (SW17)

The DPCU is the approved two-piece operational uniform to be worn by RAN personnel in the following circumstances:
* As tactical working dress in the land environment
* For Clearance Divers on all operations, tactical exercises, IED disposal, Explosive Ordnance Disposal tasks and all dedicated military flights.

Saw one of HM Ships tied up in London and the gangplank guard were wearing woodland green cam. Looked bloody awful.

Why do they want to look like vegetables when at sea?

For safety reasons. Should they fall into the water they won't get eaten by sharks because they look like a bit of salad and sharks don't like salads.
