Christmas in Oz is a sweaty affair . . . heat of summer. Its either blistering hot or monsoon rain, depending on where you are.

Even if you don't click on any links in them or open any attachment in them, they now know you opened the email just to view it and they'll know your email address is live and valid:

you will get even more spam from them.

That's what I thought, and feared the worst. But when I went to Sydney for Christmas & New Year in 2010, the temperature didn't go above +25C. There was no rain, no wildfires, and I didn't even see a single dangerous creature

Admittedly, they had serious flooding around Brisbane at the same time, but no one in Sydney cared -- they were more interested in the cricket games against England. Sorry, can't remember who won

It's this darn holiday season. I've been getting as much as 75 spam e-mails per day. I just delete them!

If you are speaking of this, I have not had that in more than 60 years. Once was all it took. I would not feed that to a dog(not that I have a dog)

HEY lay off!!!! Turkey spam is really good when sliced thin and fried. Especially with fried taters, eggs and cheese.
