Back in the 60s my Dad used to watch the Nana Mouskouri Show, featuring the bespectacled Greek songstress. Couldn't understand why at the time, but I saw a clip of her on TV at the weekend, and realised that despite the geeky image, she was actually quite a babe:

Absolutely; the suggestion at the time that Nana Moussaka and Demis Roussos were one and the same seemed almost a calumny. Mind you, at that time Nana and Demis were the only Greeks that people in the UK had ever seen (the only other known Greeks, Plato et al, having died previously).
