A book in a revised edition which has a wealth of such covers detailing some of the artists involved and themes covered.

Two approaching bad guys have knives. Hero has one knife and one spear in his spear gun. He'd better not miss with that first shot, or he's totally fucked.

Gold bars are very heavy. They do not get any lighter underwater. You'd be lucky to get one, maybe two up per trip. Voluptuous blonde companion carries one per trip up maximum.

Best way to get that many gold bars up is to carry down an inflater bag with a basket attached. This of course requires compressed air from a scuba tank, which hero apparently does not have.

Voluptuous blonde companion apparently has not been instructed that the snorkel only works when it it actually in your mouth.

A lot of these books are collecting premium prices on the used market. At the used bookstores I frequent, you'll sometimes find these, but the cheapest ones are in very poor shape, due to acidification, water exposure and Father Time. Same goes with Golden Age and pre Silver Age comics like Tales from the Crypt and such. If you can get 'em, grab 'em. If not, many of them have been reprinted in various anthologies at decent prices. Basically, old school phone size anthologies chock full of pulp!
