You have some weird fetish about knives as we have gone through what you think of British knife laws on other threads and you just cannot accept we see the world differently.
No one but a moron or someone out to commit a crime carries a knife in public view. I have one in the boot of my car in my tool kit, I see no need to carry it around with me as I have never used it.

I hate to burst your bubble but just cos some opinionated knobhead with access to an audience of susceptible like-minded morons on Youtube agrees with you it does not mean the entire planet does.

At work I've seen some ideas mooted for data protection that are pretty much the same as data destruction, the idea being broken down to its simplest form is that if we do not hold it no one can access it, that's all very well and good in the fantasy world some of our managers live in; apart from the fact that we hold important information that may help people get access to benefits lost through piss-poor past management within public services.

Where I live, it's absolutely forbidden to carry a knife unless you need it for your profession. I'm a gardener, and always carry a knife for cleaning stonework etc. No one would question that. I also carry a chainsaw sometimes, in the middle of the city. No one questions that either, and they don't suspect I'm an insane Texan

So my colleague Wendigo is making a 100% valid point - if you don't have a reason to carry killing gear, don't carry it

Btw, in USSR we had no difficulty moving booze from republic to republic. Not if you knew how, anyway. Clearly Canada is not USSR. Canada must become more sophisticated
