I've watched an ARTE documentary about Italian fascism and saw how Italian farmers who wanted to live under communism, because they were hardly exploited, were persecuted by fascist politicians and even fascist farmers.
They couldn't escape because they were poor. They were exterminated.

This is a fact, when rich people can't exploit poor ones, they call the police or the army and beat them, hunt them, kill them.

Some rich people are lazy and selfish but the vast majority (or their ancestors) worked their balls off over many years and became rich as a result.

No... in capitalism you can't be rich when you really work hard. You always need hard working people to make the job when you calculate the benefits they bring to you.

One fact is sure. You don't know what means capitalism. You absolutely don't get any idea. Capitalism can't be fair, because it NEVER pay the real wage of the worker. NEVER.

No slums or ghettos, bad housing or social deprivation or minorities being oppressed anywhere in the Russian Federation? I don't understand why the Calais riffraff didb't up sticks and camp on the Russian border? Unless perhaps their darkest fear was that Mr Putin might let them in.

How does it make you feel that you can sit there, speak your mind freely without repercussion

How would you feel if suddenly, Switzerland I think is where you live, took away that right and there were repercussions for speaking your mind or restrict your media to state run only and state approved book you know being detained without charge or worse

Since 1991, Russia has been a capitalist country. In the Soviet era, the country had an effective housing programme, which provided free housing. The degradation of the housing stock began in the post-Soviet times.

Correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it the dire housing shortage was a constant during the Soviet years, with several generations of the same family living in one apartment. During the period 1917 to 1991 Russia graduated from an agrarian economy in which 80% of the people lived in the countryside and worked on the land, to an industrial society in which 80% of the people lived in cities and worked in industry, commerce and the professions. Housing development lagged behind this demographic change.

Thanks to the miracle of google I have just learned a new word - Khrushcheby. It refers to Mr Kruschev's initiative in the late 1950s to build thousands of apartment blocks all over the USSR, the first really serious attempt by the Soviet government to house its own people properly. Khrushcheby is a play on Mr Kruschev's name and rhymes with the Russian word "trushchoby" (трущобы), which means "slums". This seems a tad ungrateful. At least he was trying.
