Thanks. I have tried and much enjoyed the Aventinus Eisbock. I have not tried the other. I will see if my liquor store carries it.

Today's drink comes from Germany: Moosbacher Weissbier: Pours a cloudy golden orange with a small to medium foamy white head. Alcohol content 5.00%. Typical wheat beer tastes of bananas, cloves, lemon. Also a hint of pineapple. Rather a dry feeling in my throat as it goes down. Just good overall. Earlier in this thread I already have a review of the dark wheat beer from Moosbacher.

Went for a couple of pints of Beachcomber tonight. It's a summer seasonal beer and was on tap at my local pub.

Quite pleasant, fairly strong and rather tangy - slightly gingery flavour. Would recommend it.

Anyway, nice to get an evening out after an intensive time caring for another so made a good change to natter with a mate. The weather is fab at the moment in England and the days are long - so it was nice to walk home in the warm, still with a glow of vestigial light on the horizon and through the trees. The sort of day when England is at its very best.

Today's drink comes from Germany: Schonramer Festbier. Pours a cloudy golden/orange color with a thin white head. Alcohol content 6.2%. Tastes of sweet malt, caramel, chocolate fudge, and raisins. Smooth as it goes down. Very good overall.
