I find it hard to believe there would be any cash plus player offer from Madrid.
Perhaps i'm wrong, but I don't remember seeing many cash plus player deals unless the players offered have been young and not proven, or older and in their last season(s), or at lower club level where their might be critical financial reasons. I struggle to imagine a scenario where any RM player worthy of featuring in a cash + player deal for Bale would tolerate being valued as just a bargaining chip for another player. how would that player hold their head up at their new club when the transfer itself simply says "every party involved thinks i'm much worse than the player i'm replacing"? if spurs request... thats a bit different. But as we've said he's not going anywhere, I can't see it. It's not happening unless RM offer silly silly money.

I've stated before I 'Hate' the close season rumours. And I make a point of not believing ANY of them, until they happen of course.
I normally go on holiday to the Greek islands, and get p****d off when the television caters for Brits on holiday. So you get 24/7 Sky SportsNews S**t. This year I'm to the Amalfi coast, (Saturday Silly o'clock) so I'm hoping I will be able to avoid Sky??? P.S. my adopted 2nd country Italy gave Spain a run for their money tonight. But as with ALL the teams I support, England, Spurs and Mansfield, penalties was my undoing See you all in 2 weeks!! |

This year, as I think I mentioned before, I've discovered "Agents"..."Ex-Agents"..."New Agents"..and so on All with Twitter accounts -- some are barmy some are parodies, and as I shift through and abandon about 95% of them, I am impressed by a couple of them. If you are on Twitter, VM, follow indykaila he is linked to a Blog as well - For the libidinous, follow SexyFootyWAGs Cesc's armcandy Higuain's armrest And for the bloke that broke Higuain and Felliano to the Gooners, weeks ago - follow AgentJim_ One more match in the Confed, and then only the Women's Euro to keep me from going cold turkey This is a long summer, for some of us, but at least we are only in Ireland for one match, against Shamrock, for which I've got sorted already. Meantime, Vic mate, and others, follow these Tweeters. Good fun, and some of them (the two I mentioned), actually deliver weeks before the printed media. You'll need to be on Twitter to search the handles, as it seems direct Twitter links are banned on here. But I can't find out where or why. Oh well... With the riots still continuing in Brazil over corruption and misuse of public funds, particularly with regard to preparations for next year's WC, it's good to see that FIFA have got their finger on the pulse of what's really important, and taken the opportunity today to reveal that Taittinger will be the official supplier of champagne for the tournament.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...-world-2003194 “Brazil asked to host the World Cup. We didn’t force it on them,” he [FIFA President Sepp Blatter] oinked unsympathetically.

Transfers possibilities where I've fell out my chair laughing or looked at in awe - hardly any gone through yet - but after 3/4 weeks on Twitter, various print journos are 'dropping hints' about them - these last few days. Funny that.
As already posted: Into Arsenal: Higuain (Real) Julio Cesar (QPR & Brazil) - Or Bergovic (Stoke) Felliani (Everton) Out: Mannone Arshavin Latest gossip is that the gooners have agreed a fee: £23.5m (but not wages) with Man Utd for Rooney ( whether this is as well as Higuain or as an alternative is causing some dispute amongst the leading Twitts) Out of Liverpool: Suarez (Real) Shelvey (Hammers) Agger (Barca) Reina (??? can't remember) Carragher (Done) IN: Mkhitaryan (Shakhtar Donetsk) Biteco (Gremio) Mignolet (Sunderland - done I think) Villa (Barca - if Suarez brings in loot) Aspas (Celta Vigo) Touré (Done) Shaw (Southampron) Man Utd In: Alcântara (Barca) Ronaldo (Real) - OR Bale (Spurs) Baines (Everton) Lewandowski Varela (Penarol - Done) Out: Evra (PSG or Monacco) Rooney (Arsenal / Chelsea) Scholes (Done) Chelsea: Schürrle(Done) Lewandowski - If - Cavani fails Out: Bruma Marin Benayoun Ferreira Malouda Turnbull All done West Ham: Carrol (Done) Shelvey (Liverpool) Rat (Donetsk)(Done) Out: Cole (done) Everton: Redmond (Birmingham) Honda (Russia somewhere) Out: Baines -(Man Utd) Hitzlsperger / Neville (Done) Man City: In: Fernandinho (Donetsk) Navas (Sevilla) Both done - Lewandowski Out: Bridge Touré Santa Cruz. All 3 done Spurs: In: Benteke (villa) Paulhino Out: Bale - (Everywhere ) Bentley Gallas Both done Swansea: Bony Redmond (Blues) Amat (Done) Baggies: Out & Done: Fortuné Gera Reyes Sunderland: In : Whatmore (Altrincham) de Guzman (Villareal - LOAN) Karlsson (IFK Gothenburg) All done Out: Mignolet Elmohamady Bramble Kilgallon Noble All done. Norwich: Garrido (Lazio) van Wolfswinkel (Lisbon) - Both Done Redmond (Blues) Hooper (Celtic) Out: Adeyemi Steer Rudd Camp All done Toon: In: Emerick-Aubemyang (St. Ettiene) Zouma (St. Ettiene) Belhanda (Montpellier) Honda (Somewhere in Russia) Out: Harper Simpson Both done Saints: Lovren (Done) Stoke: Pieters (PSV) Pennant (re-hired) Both Done Out: Delap Upson Sidibe Whitehead I hope I ain't missed some, probably have. When I started this I've had to go back and back to re-check. Where things are done, I've tried to log it, but...it's all good fun ....and gets some of us nearere August 3rd. |

We've signed Danny Simpson from Newcastle on a free, was supposed to be in for Dwight Gayle from Peterborough
Players under 30 Hope whoever comes in over the next few weeks have hunger and desire, sadly missing from bulk of playing staff last season. Joey Barton supposed to be back Monday, hope we keep hold of him but apparently he wants out. Released DJ Campbell and Bothroyd, thought they may have done a job for us up front next season.
