Nudist "documentaries" from the early and mid 20th century

I've heard about these all my life. Generally, my understanding is that they would make documentaries about nudist culture which were not documentaries so much as they were excuses to put frolicking young women on screen sans clothing. Often they would hire models posing as nudists (that is to say, pretending that as if they are frequent and regular visitors to nudist gatherings) to be the stars of the show.

I know of the title of only one: Elysia, Valley of the Nude[/URL]. I would think that someone would have collected these up and put them on a website somewhere. I can't imagine there are many of them that aren't in the public domain.

Since this is 'discussion' I expect it to be moved soon.

While these films might have been in the Public Domain many have since been commercially released.

Some are on here. Do searches for common terms such as 'Nudist' or 'Nudist Camp'

The Something Weird site has a large selection for purchase on DVD-R or download.
