Natalie Wood was beautiful. In the Movie Splendor In The Grass in the original un-cut scene Natalie was seen running down the hallway to the bedroom.With her backside showing to all.Us fans want to know where is the footage of her bare butt.?This would have been like the first major nudity in a mainstream Hollywood Film. Director Kazan was forced to cut this shot after the catholics decency league complained.I'm sure it exists somewhere.Where is her bum?

Yes,The Elvis And Natalie Wood Article-I remember that story.Was it true? She was a horny devil? There are stories about Grace Kelly too.They said Grace Kelly screwed anything that moved.Damn,those guys were lucky.She even screwed one of Alfred Hitchcock's screenwriters.My research shows they were telling the truth.Grace was hot to trot.Damn,those dudes were lucky.In Playboy,the next few months there were comments from other readers saying the guy that wrote the article was a bragging liar.But with the Grace Kelly being valid.We don't know.Perhaps it is true.We have a babe Kelly Monaco who sort of looks like Natalie Wood.Both are so fine.Cheers.

Somewhere around here I have an article from a Sunday newspaper 'Parade' magazine in which Natalie discusses her performance in the mini-series version of "From Here to Eternity". I recall from that article that she discussed how the European version of this TV movie contained nudity (on her part) that was not in the U.S. version. Anyone know anything about this?

Well I do remember that the papers mentioned before the TV series came out, that she would be taking off her clothes. I think this was to be in the love scene on the beach with the company sergeant. I did watch the series, but I don't remember seeing any actual nudity. Never seen any stills of it either. There is a poster on IMDB that shows her lying on her back in a topless embrace with the guy, but of course her boobs are not showing.

She has a full frontal in that film. She jumps in front of Redford and we sort of see a split second of what he sees, but never enough to be able to say that we saw anything. Very clever.

It is true i believe she was in discusssion about it(her sister Lana was in the mag and she was not proud that Lana did it),but then she felt it would be bad for her image and felt it was morally wrong. She obviously was an exhibitinist with a beautiful body as attesetd by her naked from the back scenes in Inside Dasiy Clover, This Property is condemned, Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice(you almost see her behind), and Splendour in the Grass,and of course Gypsy,also From here to eternity had a naked swin scene(you dont see anything actually).. Even though a mom several times, she did keep her body in good shape(with exercise and probably diet, even though she was a heavy drinker before she died) right up til her death.

The most common story regarding Natalie Wood and Playboy is that she agreed to do it, but insisted that all clothing she did wear in the shoot had to be created by legendary Hollywood fashion designer Edith Head. Hugh Hefner quickly discovered that the cost of having Ms. Head design even a couple of items of clothing would be so high that he could never make a profit on the issue in which Wood appeared. Negotiations then fell through (which may have been Wood's plan all along).
