As you might know, she was adopted. She always looked italian to me, but I'll defer to any interviews she's given on the topic.

Yeah, I agree. While any ethnic group may have it's "classic" look, there is always diversity. Some people underexposed to some Sephardic Jews may even assume that they were black. And, of course, there are Chinese (or at least, there were) and many, many Indian Jews, etc.

In terms of the "name ending in 'man'" assumption that people may have - clearly anyone with a knowledge of German-language derived names know that there are plenty of non-Jews with the suffix "man" on their last names. Just as there are plenty of non-Jewish "Bergs" and names ending with "berg", etc. The list goes on.

As for the big nose, clearly many Italians and Poles are also known for their nose size as well (and should be admired for such talents, of course). Since there were many Jews from Poland and new research indicates that many Italians (especially those from dense urban centers) may actually have originally been Jewish, it is not surprising that the nose size comes into play.

Just my 2 cents.

There was a redhead, not really vintage, that participated in some outstanding photo shoots in the 1990s or so named Blair Segal. She always seemed Jewish, based on appearance and name.

That's a dangerous basis for labeling someone, I know, but on the other hand, like others here, I don't give a goyem either way. I bring her up because I thought others might know something of her. There is precious little of her that I found on VEF.

I saw Zara Whites in one movie where she's wearing a Star of David charm on a chain. Doesn't necessarily mean she's Jewish, but it's a pretty good indicator.
