I also tried downloading that same file with Firefox and I have no add ons to my Firefox.

The download started and then stopped after 5 MB and said complete.

When I tried to restart it, it's telling me I have to wait 60 minutes.

Also I know what cookies are in my Chrome under Chrome/Site Settings/siteDatea/cookies because I go to the same 2-3 dozen sites every day.

I also go to my cookies list in Chrome a dozen times a day and manually delete the cookies to websites that I don't frequent daily or that I don't recognize that are added to the cookies list - deleting them one at a time;

instead of just deleting all cookies at one time using the clear history function which will cause me to have to log back into the 2-3 dozen sites I frequent every day.

By turning every add-on off while attempting to download from 1Fichier, it added 100 and 100 of cookies to 3 dozen websites I never heard of or seen in my Chrome cookies list.

Then i cancel DL and trying again from same IP - You see here "Wait 60 minutes" ?

As visible on screens - uBlock turned on (no redirect or EXE).

I gave up in the end via the site itself, copied the links to "JDownloader2" and it worked perfectly!

Well, 1Fichier has become unusable for me as of now. Even when I deactivate uBlock Origin, I still get the message that I should deactivate my adblocker. Also the ads are very shady. Had a popup window that resized and put itself in the bottom right corner, with the close icon being outside the visible screen.

Using Firefox, with uBlock origin. Leave it enabled for 1fichier and click on Block third party scripts and third party frames so it shows red. This blocks everything, all of the pop ups etc. I clicked the download link as a free user and the download started with no ads, popups, or other crap showing.

I did this with 2 files, waiting @15 minutes between files and they both downloaded with no issues.

preferred host

I'm using AdBlockPlus and I'm very reluctant to switch it off, or replace it with an alternative just for this particular site. I've already had a few worrying pages open from 1fichier and think this is a bit risky. I think I'll just sit on the fence for now and see what happens, but I'm not too hopeful.

Choosing a new host wont result in premium users moving to it anytime soon
We've seen that with any number of over run hosts ie file factory

I make the simple suggestion - pick a post your after - link to the post number
Get admin / mods to test it

If your still wanting to use just the browser - start the process of elimination

Starting a browser in safe mode and taking all add-ons / extensions out of the equation
not a bad place to start...script blockers are ad-blockers by default...plenty of extensions
interfere with browsers

start sharing information about everything your using

where you are in the real world , your ISP , security software



My favourite solution of late - bookmark the wanted and comeback in a week
Your more likely to avoid the high demand period when fresh content is posted
and servers are at their most stressed

If your a free user downloader - avoid trying content when its on the top page
Thats when its going to be under the most demand - us free users tend to get kicked off servers occasionally during those high demand periods.
