Are You a Stranger to Your Friends

I was just wondering if your friends know you visit this forum? I quite happily tell my mates about most of my interests/hobbies as we all share pretty much the same ones i.e. Music, Films, Books, Total lack of interest in sport, Beer, Being in a band & the other good things in life, that is why we are mates. However I have never once mentioned my love of Old School porn from when I was a kid, to the extent that I'm a member of this & a few other forums. How many other of you keep quite about " YOUR DARK SIDE"? (& roll the echo thunder sound effect & flashing strobe lights).

Same here. Honestly, if we watch people doing sports, jumping out of planes, making music, collecting beermats, doing gardening, COOKING!, travelling to space or cloning themselves (admit it South-Korea backdoorlabs, you DID it!) what could be wrong with watching people enjoying themselves?

YES its primarily a porn site. But I don't think we are all perverts or pedos are we?

I am proud of starting the Football Thread on here and I enjoy reading all the comments etc. (and more importantly, I learn alot of things I did not know before).

My missus knows I go on the Forum (because she says it keeps me quiet for an hour) and also my mates keep asking me what site I use and I strongly suspect that some of them are on here under some unknown name?

It has always been a great site for me personally with v.friendly moderators/administrators etc. and I will continue to post when time prevails.

There are good people on this site (especially the Football Thread) and in answer to your great question Karlos "YES" I do think they are my friends. O.K. we have not personally met each other, but I treat them as friends.

Long may this Forum exist (as said earlier its 'classy').

On a deeper note , I only have a handful of 'real life acquaintances'
I've felt less & less connected to my 'mates' as time goes on - That's nothing to do with my enjoyment of VEF

I'm the sort of person not to bring-up my concerns & worries with friends, I just want to make the best of times when in others' company, & so, over time, have built a paper thin charade of a life

If i were to bring-up my problems or anxieties with so called real life buddies, I imagine i'd be given a wide berth or alienated completely.

Now that's sad
