This version

fixes a bug that occured when a thread once had two pages but now hase only one because of deleted posts. This sometimes lead to stopping the download progress.
replaces postimg.org urls with postimg.cc before downloading. I do not know, if this is still necessary because the urls were migrated on the forum.

If Imagebam & Imgbox are no longer compatible, can we use alternatives like Imagefap? They enable the generation of HTML & BBCode. Problem is when I test the HTML/BBC code generated by ImageFap on this site, it does not work

What do you mean by "are no longer compatible"?
Both still work except from the usual glitches.

Probably this: The BB-code doesn't work, because the thumb gets asterisks'd by the forum software. Which means the host isn't allowed here.

This version

includes a workaround for the pimpandhost problem with the missing protocol. The "http://" is added if it is missing. Failed pimpandhost downloads in the affected timeframe are reset and retried.

This version fixes a bug with imagebam downloads. The first four downloads from imagebam often failed because the cookie imagebam uses was not set yet. This was especially annoying when downloading single posts. Now the cookie "ibpuc_nsfw: yes" is set right from the start for imagebam.

This version fixes a bug with pimpandhost downloads. When the image had a width larger than 750 pixels, a lower resolution image was downloaded.

The same error was detected in imgding by thunder911:
