The big loser is all this is the American people.

But seriously the debates are part of the unconscionable fraud that our political campaigns have become. A format that defies meaningful discourse.

The Commission on Presidential Debates is a corrupt stranglehold on our democracy.

One thing I hate with a passion is how juvenile candidates act in this format. Interrupting each other, talking way past their allotted time. Their adults and supposedly we teach our kids not to interrupt or talk over other people.

I would set it up so a candidates mic are automatically turned off say ten seconds after their allotted time. Then it can be turned back on when it's their chance to talk again.

Some interaction is fine, but when your talking over the moderator or stealing the other candidates time I say force a "time out".

Is it good news that Trump's energy policy will accelerate climate change? I often think that the quicker the planet pulls the plug on this particular species experiment, the better.

We're 40 years behind the global warming issue. Trump and Johnson wants to eliminate the EPA. Clinton is pro TPP, fraking, dirty energy and business as usual for corporate donors. Pick your poison.

I saw it quite the opposite, & I have heard other Trump supporters state the same. She & her "smirk" won this round. Very influential conservative talk show hosts saw it the same,& one Michael Savage, of that ilk & more, too stated that the "smirk" won, primarily because good tutoring for debates.I call it as I see it, like a good umpire,. I think again, you sell us nasty yanks short, because many of us saw it that way, who are not by any stretch, Clinton supporters.

Now for the 64K question: Did Hillary gain a lot of votes because of this debate? IMHO no, not many. She really said nothing of substance, pertaining to what she would do to get middle class Americans back to a good future.Lester "Dolt" didn't give her a good fastball or a good curve ball in questions either.Like on her wide open border proposal,or her proposal for massive immigration, much more than we currently have, & the how to put American citizens back to work. All she did do, was pivot when almost any question was asked of her , & brought up things that Trump could have handled better in 1971 or shorty after!Just like the good BSing bureaucrat she is.

Trump should have brought up her record, of a do nothing politician. In fact the truth is that she sided with her buddy,GWB more often than a lot of Democrats, on important issues.& she was very "hawkish" as a US Senator. He could have attacked her about the things Dolt Holt would never do, because he is an ultra liberal. The immigration issue & her statements of raising taxes on the middle class should have been brought up by a visibly nervous Trump. Her flip flopping too?

Maybe we can say, or that is a lot of us can say, that the only thing worse than a Trump presidency is a Hillary Clinton one? That is if you are a tax paying citizen of this nation. Not: an illegal immigrant here now, one of the millions who will arrive during her presidency, legal immigrants who will be brought in here en masse from the ME, if she wins, or those here now who are getting the "goodies" for free.Or one of the middle class tax payers she states she will raise taxes on, or a worker in manufacturing & industry here, she will obliterate their jobs by doing the "Hillary Flop", & say the TPP is great again & fast track it!

Default A FACT and A Blatant Act Of Hypocrissy

The fact:

According to Jim Asher, the then chief investigating reporter of the McClatchy News Service, Sidney Blumenthal asked him to have their man on the ground in Kenya to look into several rumors about then Senator and Presidential candidate Obama including whether or not Obama was born in Kenya. While Blumenthal held no official position in Hillary's 2008 campaign he was a close adviser and active in that campaign. Hillary and Blumenthal are fairly close and it would take someone drinking the whole pitcher of Kool-aid to believe Hillary knew nothing about his request to Asher. While the actual start of the birther movement may not be clear there is NO question that Hillary hands are not clean.

I believe the birther movement, the issue of whether Pres. Obama was born in the US or not, was intentionally allowed by Obama to fester for political purposes. He could have produced the certified copy of his birth certificate at any time. Why wait as long as he did? I believe it was to be able to attack his detractors as racist conspiracy theorists. Obama and Hillary are admirers of Saul Alinsky, and they both practice the deplorable style of politics that Alinsky preached. Central to Alinsky's teachings is the art of personal destruction. By allowing the birther movement to grow it allowed those on the left to label "birthers" as racists there by deligitimize any issue they may have with Obama, regardless of the issues merit.

BTW I didn't think it mattered where a candidate is born as long one of there parents is a US citizen. I believe the intent of requiring a candidate to be a "Natural Born Citizen" was to prevent someone who once owed allegiance to another country from obtaining our highest office. Because I didn't feel it was relevant I never held an opinion as to where he was born. So if you don't buy my theory above than why did he wait over 2 years into his presidency to produce the Certified copy of his birth certificate?

The Hypocrissy:

Hillary attacking anyone for calling women derogatory names.
Trump chose not to go there last night, that was a mistake. He let her attack him over language he used to describe Rosie O'donnel. He could have reminded her about how the Clinton's and their surrogates savaged every women that dared to make a claim about Bill's inappropriate sexual behavior. While I find it commendable that Trump did not bring up Bill's sexual scandals he should have found a way to do it in a respectable manor. Chelsea is 36yo, she was 12 when they entered the White House. She knows what kind of a dog her father is, just like Hillary knew that all of the claims were if not true likely to be true. Yet for political reasons she savaged these women. She said, and allowed their surrogates to say things that were far worse than Trump calling Rosie a pig.
