Thumbs up Software Saving Multiple Images off a thread

Is there a good, and FREE, software tool that will grab & save entire posting images posted on the VEF threads? Say a thread has 50 images.

One computer I use is a Gateway desktop running XP, the Gateway Laptop is running Vista.

Default remove lines from scans

Here's an example:

I would like to remove the line between the two pages. Of course this could be done with a clone tool, but that is time consuming.
Does anyone know about a free program or Photoshop plugin that I can use for this purpose?

I have tried wire pilot and Photowipe, but they did not do a good job at this.

Answering my own request: TheGimp with the Resynthesizer plugin does a pretty good job. This was done with just one edit:

By the way, TheGimp has confirmed my decision to upgrade my computer.

Wire/line removal is a job for Photoshop's "content aware fill"

Thank you, but Photoshop is not exactly free.

You'd asked above for a "Photoshop plugin" so I thought you had it . . .

Resynthesizer in GIMP is close to content-aware fill in Photoshop . . . but you've found that already.

Ah, I see. If I use a Photoshop plugin, I use it with Irfanview.

Ah, gotcha, you use photoshop plugins, but not with Photoshop.

For wire/line removal, "wire worm" is pretty good. It's a one trick pony, but if it's what you need then it's very convenient

It's shareware, donate if you like, but not crippled

If you're not too picky about the latest version you actually can get Photoshop CS2 now for free:

http://www.techspot.com/downloads/36...oshop-cs2.html

As far as I know its the full blown version. Just a little old.

Oh, make sure you scroll down the page a bit and get the Windows and/or Mac serial number. I've put it on three or four machines so far with no problem.

Good luck.
