Why do men die before women

Why do men usually die younger than women do? This is a question that has gone unanswered for centuries, but now we know the definitive answer. It requires a bit of explanation first:

If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat race, you're a male chauvinist; if you stay home and do the housework, you're a pansy. If you work too hard, there's never any time for her; if you don't work enough, you're a lazy, good-for-nothing bum.

If she has a boring repetitive job with low pay, it's exploitation; if you have a boring repetitive job with low pay, you need to get off your lazy ass and find something better. If you get a promotion ahead of her, it's favoritism; if she gets a job ahead of you, its equal opportunity. If you mention how nice she looks, it’s sexual harassment; if you keep quiet, its male indifference. If you cry, you're a wimp; if you don't, you're an insensitive bastard with no heart. If you make a decision without consulting her, you're a chauvinistic control freak; if she makes a decision without consulting you, she's a liberated woman. If you ask her to do something she doesn't enjoy, that's domination; if SHE asks you, it's a favor.

If you appreciate the female form and frilly underwear, you're a pervert; if you don't, you're gay. If you like a woman to shave her legs and keep in shape, you're a sexist; if you don't, you're unromantic. If you try to keep yourself in shape, you're vain; if you don't, you're a slob. If you buy her flowers, you're after something; if you don't, you're not thoughtful. If you're proud of your achievements, you're full of yourself; if you aren't, you're not ambitious. If she has a headache, she's tired; if you have a headache, you don't love her anymore. If you want sex too often, you're an oversexed pervert; if you don't, then there must be someone else.

Why do men die first?

I really ought not to open and read threads like this. It is part of a strong streak of real misogyny among the VEF community that I find very unpleasant and uncomfortable. The sort of thing that anti-porn compaigners use to justify their complaint that porn 'objectifies women'.

I genuinely like women, not just in a sexual context, and often actually prefer the company of woman to men for the most part (men can be stunningly boring - all sports, cars, work, no real engagement with day to day life), and have always preferred to work in places where there are more women than men. I am endlessly baffled by the number of VEF posters who seem to have got into relationships or marriages on the basis of sex alone, and then found they have nothing in common with their partners. To me friendship and importantly common interests and atitudes are more important than the extremely transient pleasures of 'great sex' (I've had those relationships too, and there's little more chilling than the silence afterwards).

I don't mean to be so damned po-faced about this. Its a way of looking at the other half of humanity I cannot really understand

Historically It was because men worked and woman were home keepers. Men drank and smoked more, and did dangerous jobs.
That has changed somewhat, so It may no longer be the case that men die first.

once men retired from their jobs 1 of 2 things happened
1) they suddenly had nothing to do and their bodies just could not take the sudden change and many of them just died within 18 months
2) they found hobbies like gardening and such like and the wives got so pissed off with the husband getting in the way of their daily / weekly routine that a lot of divorces occured , or the wives just battered the men into an early grave, the men then went out into the world of liberated women whoproceeded to try and snare a good man who was still physically fit and most of them got shagged out in 36 months. what a way to go though

Because our eardrums are only built to take a certain amount of wear , so if we didn`t die sooner they`d be several hundred million deaf blokes all wandering about

Mind you they`d be wandering about with smiles on their happy content faces.

Bloody typical , we die just when we`re finally going to be able to enjoy a peaceful nag free life

Nice going God , mean it`s not like those bints are only able to cause such grief due to us all being down one rib or anything
