Law and Real Incest in Porn

In classic porn, two prominent examples of real incest in a movie are Diane Sloan & Denise Sloan in Tigresses and Other Man-Eaters (1979) and Brooke Young & Taylor Young in Teenage Twins (1976).

However, I have heard from some modern twin sister pornstars who have done scenes together with no incest that law prevents them from sexually touching each other. I have heard same about mother-daughter duos too.

In you opinion or observation what has changed since the golden era of porn that all of a sudden real incest has become such a taboo and even illegal for legal aged adults?

As far as I know it is not illegal. The Peters twins (Elijah and Milo Peters) have appeared in several recent gay porn movies in which they have sex together.

The law of consent more than anything, if you ask me. Psychological mind-magic tends to be the order of the day when it comes to convincing a family member to engage in a sexual act, whether it's exploited for gratuity to others or not. Sadly, I am aware of real issues among friends in the real world where this has happened and kinda turned their lives into a big messy ball of innapropriate sexual behaviour towards others. Of course, many people find the twins/mother-daughter things sexy (secretly), but then again if it was the viewer themselves, it would be a different story. It's an odd and maniacal subject that threatens to accuse half the Western Population of promoting incest by just mentioning the words "twins" or "Mother-daughter". Sooo for all intents and purposes, I am condemning it. Wink, nudge.

If I remember correctly the Love sisters from Sin Twins were real sisters and they had sex with each other in a few films. I am not into incest porn and I am seeing more and more of it pop up lately. My Sister has the Best Tits, My Brother has the Biggest Dick, Father's Day. I actually find it quite disturbing, that this appears to becoming a norm in mainstream porn.

There are 3 arguments against incest: 1) legality, 2) social acceptability, 3) genetic. Condoms and/or same sex deal with 3. As for 1 and 2 - come on, we are talking about porn!

It all participants are above the age of consent, than incest is legal. Morally and Psychologically, incest causes problems. I do not recommend it.
Since incest is such a forbidden subject, the porn industry loves to portray it. Lately I have been seeing site claiming they are "true Incest." I do not believe them. It is very hard to find families that are willing to do this and are good looking. I noted that some have by stepped this problem by claiming they are step parents of siblings.

I have a feeling that the discussion has digressed towards acceptability of real incest porn for audience of this forum.

My original question remains unanswered except for flyingtiger who has somewhat addressed my query. I was hoping to get input from esteemed porn historians of these forums.

To me it seems porn industry is trying to self-regulate these days more than during the days of golden era in inexplicable ways, since it has lost its track of eroticism and sensuality for a very mechanical debauchery.

I do not know about Britain. In the United States the legality of the act depends on the state. To clarify flyingtiger's post, most states have a "mutual consent" defense in which any sex act involving parties over the age of consent without duress can be defended by holding that the "victim" was equally culpable, which is why neither party complains. Added to that, some states require proof of penetration; likewise, different states define the levels of prohibited contact differently. Finally, incest is very rarely charged in the U.S. any more. There is usually a clearer violation of law that can be charged.
