In the 90s, Men Only. In the '00s, (British) Club. Both magazines had girls who were both beautiful and sexy in abundance.

I can't narrow my favourite down to a single magazine, a single strength of porn or even a single porn theme. I first started buying my own girly mags when I was 15 around the end of 1973 so I'll go through a short chronological list of favourites and there will be some overlaps in time.
My first favourite mag was 'Men Only'. It had pretty girls well posed and often atmospherically photographed but it wasn't timid about showing the girls' cunts and arseholes. It fell into the sweet spot between Penthouse (pink sometimes on show but photographs often taken through gauze or some kind of filter and comparatively few sets in the mag) and the Sullivan grot mags where often whorish-looking models were poorly photographed with the camera sometimes only inches from clumsily held open greasy flaps. 'Men Only' particularly up to volume 40 or 41 combined the stylishness and attractive girls of 'Penthouse' with enough regular explicitness to make the sets about 'sex' rather than just 'sexy'. The girls' cunts were usually visible without being made the 'be all and end all' and their arseholes weren't airbrushed out and were quite often presented by the girls as the focus of erotic interest in that particular pose. For a short while, perhaps concurrent with 'Men Only', the first volume or two of 'Rustler' was my go-to. It was more crudely produced by far than 'Men Only' very much more about the girls in the photosets showing and opening their cunts and presenting their arseholes but the photography was still significantly better than the Sullivan grot mags, the girls better looking and the magazine itself was edited with a sense of fun. 'Rustler' along with its sister magazines also for a while included penetration, usually just vibrators or dildos unlike its sister publication 'Journal of Sex' which published full-on shagging a couple of times in its first few issues. So early 'Rustler' became favourite number 2. For the early part of the 1980s, although I was buying both girly mags of varying degrees of explicitness and quality and also buying hardcore mags, my favourite magazine was probably 'Escort' although it was a toss up (pun intended) between 'Escort' and 'Razzle'. I enjoyed the editorial sense of humour, the girls were usually plainly up for a laugh, and - best of all - there were lots of photosets of the girls either nude or at least flashing their bushes in public. I particularly liked the 'Escort' 'Girls of...' feature which usually featured plenty of public nudity and visited many places I knew in the North West of England, the girls flashing tits, twats, bums and arseholes in public places I knew well, sometimes with female passersby in shot, an added thrill. For about 30 issues the spanking magazine 'Janus' was my go-to mag. I very much enjoy spanking my girlfriends and when I wasn't in a relationship Janus was an excellent substitute, often using well-known later 80s models, examples being Solange Hop and Vida Garman, along with pretty first timers and one-off models getting their bottoms well and truly smacked or caned. For a spanking magazine the sets in Janus were usually well art-directed, the scenarios well thought through and the impact of the cane or hand well captured. A bit of explicitness and a bit of sex after the spanking, particularly with the girls being taken from behind, would have made Janus perfect for me but I expect the law ruled that out. I had no favourite magazine for most of the 90s: when I bought magazines they were usually tightly themed magazines of various kinds, for instance Japanese and other far Eastern girls, public nudity magazines, bottom-centric magazines, 'barely legal'-type mags and so on. The nearest I came during this period to having a favourite magazine was buying lots of cheap back issues of 'Private' from the magazine shop in Manchester that eventually became Jobbydealer. And I wasn't a fan of Private magazine, I only collected these back issues because so many of them contained photosets of beloved 80s girly models like Andrea Clarke being shagged and buggered. I bought various C*C*C magazines and other European publications for the same reason. I bought every issue of 'Men's World' that featured Jo Guest, particularly as their diary girl, but that was because I was and still am nuts about Jo, the magazine itself wasn't a favourite. I stopped buying porn mags around 2008 but in the ten preceding years my tastes swung very heavily towards hardcore mags. I'd say that from around 1997 to 2002 my absolute go-to magazine was John Stagliano's 'Buttman' magazine because it often had good-looking 'name' models and sometimes not-so-good-looking but up-for-anything models - Kelly Stafford comes to mind, I'm not saying in which category - showing and spreading their bottoms, displaying their anuses (often dilated) and receiving deep bummings and other kinds of anal insertion. In the last five years of my porn-buying my favourite magazine was probably 'Hustler Barely Legal Hardcore'. The production values were very high, the magazine being perfect-bound and printed in rich ink on what felt like art-quality paper but more importantly the girls were very fresh-looking, all very pretty, all were featured getting shagged and such, and - as far as I remember - all took it up their bums, an important thing for me, I'm very much a bum man as should be obvious from my avatar and my sig. Indeed, looking for models with sexy rounded bottoms, women presenting their anuses and women taking anal penetration have been the main drivers of my porn-buying, partly because it's something that has been ruled out by girlfriends and partners for much of my adult life and partly because, perhaps unusually, it was one of the formative experiences of my teenage sex-life. I can't remember what my final magazine purchase was, it was either a copy of Buttman or a copy of the PRP Mayfair around 2008 when I was between relationships and the cover had caughf my eye. The paper quality of that Mayfair was so poor and the girls in the photo-sets so heavily photo-shopped that I realised the stuff I was downloading online for free was far better and I could even fulfill my fetish tastes with ease online so I stopped buying mags, soft and hard, and haven't bought one since. I don't think I can honestly choose an absolute favourite from these magazines from what was 35 years of porn mag buying. What I will say is that those early 'Men Only's' were the most formative of all my favourites and I've collected most of my favourite photosets from those mid-70s issues from the relevant Men Only thread here at VEF and still now and then have a enjoyable wank looking at them.

Still my fav: Fiesta, especially the amateur section. Wasted a lot of money (always used to buy 2 copies, one to ruin) until the Internet arrived.

I bought Fiesta quite often, particularly in the 70s but during that time I always bought the Fiesta Readers' Wives specials and the Shaven Havens specials. If those two had been separate independent series of magazines both would have been among my favourites above. Indeed I think I developed my preference for a shaven fanny from Fiesta and its specials. It was the one UK magazine that made hair-free fannies a feature and for years the only place I encountered them was in porn, all my early girlfriends had full thatches or at best trimmed their grumbles.

I agree with the early posts that Mayfair was by far the best before Paul Raymond bought it. However I do have some good memories of early Knave magazines and also a short lived publication called Cover Girl, and somewhere in the loft I think I have vol 1 no 1

North American Club titles from 1993-96. They were also closely aligned with the main British titles because many of the sets and models would appear there first then appear a month or so later in the NA editions.

It first attracted my attention with a cover-promise of a photoset of Jo Guest and when I bought the mag the set was a top notch set of Jo photographed by Steve Colby as was usual at the height of her career but featuring open cunt shots not published in the UK. That got me hooked and kept me hooked for a while so I suppose for a couple of years N American 'Club' was a favourite too.
