Uncomplete Set of the 1920's/1930's
An incomplete set of "Susie, single pics are scattered on the web. I suppose it's british and date from the 1920's or 1930's (because of Susie's haircut).
Anyone knows anything about? Last edited by cacora; January 14th, 2019 at 07:08 PM.. Reason: orthographic mistake :-) |

Fantastic finds! I can identify the wonderful Tintin drawings in Kelio's post, still working on Cacora's
The Tintins in post #1931 is in the style of Russo-French illustrator Feodor Stepanovich Rojankovsky aka "Rojan", who did some erotica, of which this is a very nice pastiche. He did a series called 'Idylle printanière" ("Spring Idyll") and this is kind of spoof that, called "Idylle Tintinierre" by someone very talented; unknown then and now. [edit] The female character is "Natacha" an air hostess from a strip by Walthéry and Gos, first publication 1970, so this has to be after that date-- Tintin fucking Natacha may be the most Belgian thing ever . . . The full set -- 31 images-- is for sale, and there's a catalog entry with more information (but not the name of the artist) at: http://www.erotic-secret.fr/comics-b...vres-archives/ Here's the full set * * * * Quote:
Edit: cacora's post #1932 above is, by bizarre coincidence from the year 1932! What are the odds of that? That's astonishing. The dating comes from the estimable "Jack Horntip", who has a celebrated collection of early 20th century drinking songs, folklore and some erotica, here: http://www.horntip.com/html/books_&_...(PB)/index.htm This one is called "Jean Harloe [sic] in Hot Nuts" . . . the full scan can be downloaded as a PDF from: Code:

some years ago on this thread he posted the work of "Phyne Lamothe" (a pseudonym), for example here: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...postcount=1418 and here http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...&postcount=779 . . .he's an artist of the 1950s, not the same as your other post; who copied the styles of the early 1900s for his work, Baignades Fin de Siècle. which looks a lot like your images, but they're not the same. He's also known for other titles like Débauche au pensionnat and La Luxurieuse notairesse. I've been fooled before by people working in similar styles, but I think this is him Last edited by deepsepia; January 16th, 2019 at 12:40 AM.. |

Erotic drawings of Sergei Eisenstein
A while back I posted some of the erotic drawings of Federico Fellini; he's not the only film director who had erotic doodles. Eisenstein drew a great deal, after his death his widow gave (voluntarily?) most of his work to the State, but she kept his erotica, which they didn't know about, and which she perhaps thought would be embarrassing. Years later these drawings were published in a French book, "Dessins Secret" [1999]
Here are a few |

The Susie artwork has the artistic style of many of the 1930s-era explicit funnies described in Bob Adelman's book Tijuana Bibles (Simon & Schuster, 1997). In particular, the dickhead is not portrayed realistically. It looks more like the dickhead of a horse than of a human. This is discussed in the book, but no reason is given for it. I wonder if it's similar to the Japanese habit of de-pixellating the sex organs in depictions of explicit sex. Perhaps it was forbidden to publish a realistic drawing of a dickhead, but if you made it look unrealistic, well then, that was "ok."
