Delicious Loni Sanders in: Ladies Who Lunch - Special Collector's Thread!

Hi everybody!

Loni Sanders is my favourite star of the 80s! Beautiful face, perfect body - a (natural) wet dream come true!

Back then you may have loved Seka more or enjoyed the hell out of Vanessa Del Rio, but at the end of the decade little Loni remained in everybodys heart. She'd even sell today like mad, if they only reprinted her magazines...

The following series is very special to me, so I decided to shift some more attention to it in this forum!

We are talking about: LADIES WHO LUNCH.

Nope, this is not a repetition! This is an "enhanced version" featuring two more sets of pictures combined with the original release by "Playhouse" in 1982. Altogether 40 images! The resolution is (unfortunately) not the highest, since I only had "big" scans of the original set. However... read further down below!

Three different sources were used to make this compilation:

- original magazine scan (a bit grainy due to age) by myself
- additional and DIFFERENT (!) images posted by DrWiggenstein
- scan of a German magazine with different images posted by labear79

Several of the original "Playhouse" images had to be mirrored to match the rest: 18, 26 & 29.

The correct position of 24 & 25 is dubious, so they are marked with a "d".

For those people who like to take everything home and/or suffer from extremely "bad eyesight" (like yours truly), I've also uploaded a neat package with the 40 images AND my original scans included!

My special thanks go to: labear79 (who got the party started), DrWiggenstein with his set of weird and wonderful DIFFERENT pictures (where did you get them???), labear79 (again) with his DIFFERENT set of pictures from a German magazine (which one?).

If you can get more of this series, have some more information on it or where to get them - or better scans in higher resolutions - please post them here! More information about the photographer would also be welcome! There must be more out there!

Yes I am a major Loni-holic as well. This is the set which I first saw in the May 1981 issue of Penthouse that first got me hooked on Loni. To me she is not only the hottest girl ever in porn, she is one of the hottest girls I have ever seen..period. Pretty, petite brunettes make my world go around and Loni (or Jennifer...her real name) was it for me. I remember reading in a mag many years ago that she had the gull wing lips of a martian princess. I dont know why but I have always loved that description. In her natural beauty and without so much as a sigh she wipes out all those bottled blonde fake titted machines that are so prevalent today.
The photographer was indeed Ed Holzman who went on to direct softcore features. I have googled him but have some up pretty much empty. I am such a fan of this set that I was hoping to contact him and buy from him whatever images he was willing to sell. But alas...no luck. I also contacted Penthouse a number of years ago but they said they had no more images.
The german mag I had was a collection of pictorials. I found it on Ebay and the LWL shoot is only 2 pages long...which really sucked. But still...I scanned everything possible and posted them.
I have made some photoshop images of this set to create new ones. Let me know if you are interested in such photos. I will of course post here if I should ever be fortunate enough to find more images from this shoot.

Only in very rare cases are the photographers allowed to keep their negatives! "Playhouse" bought the whole shoot and thus they should have every single photo!

Who knows. Maybe it's just lying around in some archive, waiting to be re-discovered.

It's worse with other publications, e.g. Gourmet Editions, where you don't have any idea whom to ask and where to look.

Now, THAT'S an offer I certainly won't refuse!

What I'd love to have are scans in 600dpi! Much better for removing scratches, experimenting with filters etc. And they even look better as wallpapers!

I am pretty sure that "Playhouse" was an offshoot of Penthouse. As such Penthouse is the parent co.or magazine and so would own any additional material. I am going to contact them again and see if I can do a little investigative journalism. I did that with another studio and was able to befriend one of the employees. Anyway I will have access to some of my photoshop handiwork tomorrow. However, look in the Loni Sanders thread in this forum and you will see one or two of them. I am in the graphics business and so photoshop is something I use quite a bit.
I will get you the name of that german mag tomorrow. I have it hidden in a special place.
I cant wait for that little surprise that you are preparing.

Here are the photoshop images I said I would post. These are the best ones. I have others that frankly are just not that good. I hope nobody is offended with this kind of manipulation of stuff. Anyway, I hope Patchy's material that he been working on is posted soon. The German magazine I mentioned before is called "Paarchen Spiele" (No.10).

The Viklas index calls the other girl Dana Doe aka Dana Dennis. By the way I have the May 1981 US Penthouse and can provide hi-res scans if there's none in the other threads already.

So happy I discovered this thread as this layout is my favorite of all-time. I've been on the lookout for any more from this pictorial for years. When I found the original p***house from may 81 in my father's stash it ignited a passion/fetish for victorian lesbians, outdoor lesbian picnics, Loni Sanders and Dana Dennis (Yvonne Daye).

Thanks to all the previous posters! Pepper II if you by chance happen to still have full-page scans of the original p***house pictorial I'd be very grateful

This was one of those layouts where the words and progression/order of pictures added something to the overall effect. As fathippy2 said above when p***house got it right they really got it right!
