I have no interest in:

• Katie Price / Jordan and her various "auto-biographies".
• The Kardassian family in general and Kim Kardassian in particullar.
• Who has been hired or fired on the judging panel of X Factor / Britain's Got Talent (?) / Celebrity Come Dancing / etc. etc.
• Shopping as a recreational leisure time activity.
• Mobile telephone "apps" and touch-screens which you can't even bloody read in broad daylight unless you stand in the shade: I need a frigging phone.
• Motorcycles with lots of really expensive and needless plastic fairing which you know will be trashed first time you drop it and with a single rear mono-shock and with their rear ends pointed high in the air as if they were porn actresses primed for the obligatory back door scene.
• Cars as a status symbol or fashion accessory. I will not even pay to repair accident damage if it is only cosmetic. The car must start, stop and go round corners. The lights and horn, heated windows and wipers and screenwash must work. The suspension must be in good order: that is important. The doors must open, close and lock and the windows must go up and down. The seatbelts need to be OK. The tyres need to be sound. Corrosion needs to be nipped in the bud purely for safety reasons. And that's it.
• Expensive watches. A watch is a device for telling the time. QED.
• Audio systems which cost more than the car into which they are slotted.
• Ostentation.
• People who talk too much. I am often guilty of this sin myself.
• Most pop music produced since 1990.
