What would it take for Stockings and Suspenders/Garters to make a big comeback?

I’ve bought no end of suspender belts and stockings as gifts for partners in the past. It’s a great way to get our ladies started as very often, I have found, women have no experience of these things, having been encouraged to only wear tights. The suspender tight might not be as sexy as suspenders and stockings but it’s a good start and a great training option. Not forgetting hold-ups which again are convenient and great to get our girls used to the idea of stockings before they are ready to move on to their first suspender belt.

One issue is the changing attitudes to dress codes at work.

When I started work in the early-80s, many women still wore skirts and high heels to the office. Some even wore stockings and suspenders. My landlady's niece, for example, who worked at an office in the West End, and used to talk openly about her underwear, no doubt to tease me.

By the 2000s, most women seemed to wear trousers. There was one woman in our office who still wore skirts and heels - 'power dressing' it was called, as she was career-driven and seemed to want to impress. Not really my type, but she did look smart. One day she caught me admiring her, but probably thought 'job done' - she'd made me take notice. Sure enough, a few years later she was promoted to senior management.

I’m not particularly religious, but she was certainly always truly grateful.
She did also (occasionally) wear stockings and suspenders under jeans which I thought was a bit odd at first, but she said that knowing she was wearing them all day at work and no one else at work knew what she was wearing underneath really got her going. She was certainly keen on her return home 😁

Seriously though, it is uplifting to hear that there are still Ladies who are prepared to dress well and to celebrate their sexuality and genuinely enjoy it.
My ex used to relish the extra time and effort involved in getting her Stockings and Suspenders on aligned and attached. She said it was part of relishing in the effort and helped her feel elegant and desirable.
A feeling she said got her feeling increasingly turned on while she was out

I never used to be into leather, but seeing girls in leather suspender belts and corsets has broadened my outlook in recent years!

Hanging around rock and heavy metal clubs in my youth means i have many happy memories of girls in corsets, fishnets and stockings. And butt plugs, goth girls love a butt plug!
