How does one remove a friend request that the other person has not acted on? This is for over a week. If they do not wish to be friends that is fine but I do not want to see it on my CP.

Go into User CP, Contact and Friends, uncheck the check box next to the person you sent a friend request to, click save.

Maybe they haven't logged in since you sent it ?

When I get a friend request, an email is sent to me. I check my email about twice a month (! ) and even then I might be busy doing something else so I don't act on it right away.
Be patient, or send the member a PM, if they ignore that, then remove the request.
