Its all to do with two factors, one its all Dickens's fault because he painted a picture of something that used to be but no longer is although the last true White Christmas(and this is determined by one flake falling on the roof of the London Weather Centre between 5am and 10pm Christmas Eve/Day) was in the early 1990's-we did have a white Boxing Day once but because the weather is changing due to global warming it all depends on various factors like wind, the jet stream and direction of wind. If it blows North it pulls the colder weather down from Scandinavia(Finland, Sweden, Iceland etc) and like this February it meets some warmer air and mixes. If the wind is pulling the other way you get milder weather or a lot of rain leading to flooding as happened to devastating effect in 2007/8. We blame Charles Dickens anyway but when it does snow here it makes it a magical place to be.

Additional: Its more likely if you live in the North of England or Scotland(N.Ireland as well) that you will pull cold air down and get a White Christmas than in London although it has snowed in Bournemouth but not on Christmas Day. I hope I see another one before I leave this earth.
I just wanted to add something here-isn't it typical of the man whom Martin Samuel in the Mail called "a loathsome reptile"-Jack Warner, vice-president of FIFA has now said it "is England's time" to be host to the 2018 World Cup. For years he has been against us and said in the past that we are now entitled to hold it because of history-43 years since we last hosted & won the World Cup in 1966-so I wonder if this back-tracking is really genuine? We shall wait and see.

And every time a leaf falls on the line the whole rail network falls apart I am not even sure if this winter the same thing won't happen again-Boris Johnson, the London Mayor made an excuse this February about why he withheld the buses so anything is possible with that blustering Etonian oaf!
Hmm interesting draw in the FA Cup 3rd round, Man Utd to play winners of Kettering Town or Leeds Utd, Liverpool to travel to Reading and Chelsea against Watford and West Ham take on Arsenal. What a way to start 2010!

Watching the Ireland v South Africa rugby match in Dublin yesterday, it was played in a real pea-souper of fog. It was really heavy and I thought that the game might have to be abandoned. Ireland went on to win 15-10.

I saw my first Santa today - and he was really grumpy. I got the distinct impression he'd much rather be doing something else. I read that these Santa's get fairly well paid.

Mind you, considering the fact that I've just had a couple of brass monkey at the door asking if they could borrow some brazing equipment, I doubt anyone will be wandering around in the buff for the foreseeable future! It look as though it's going to be a bit chilly this week, and I've vowed to punch the first person who mentions "Global Warming"! |

How VERY dare you! Of course I am a bloke-how many women do you know with a massive collection of pictures in the region of 30,000? The name Greenman is a dead giveaway as well-but rest assured I am 100% MALE!

So how do you explain men watching cam girls doing just that and being one the most popular forms of porn on the Net then-do you think they join just for the stimulating chat? Obviously not looking at men I can't comment on whether women find it a turn on-you;d have ask one.
