There's another version of it here which sounds more like the Magri arrangement. Its the third of three tracks, but can anyone ID the second track, which starts at 2:02??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep6rUzLU0Fg Last edited by Stroking_it; August 1st, 2017 at 09:08 PM.. |

Seemingly Dita has a lot of her own tracks!

Good luck in tracking a full copy of that down It was a limited edition release for valentines day a few years back, and no longer available. As you can tell from the sampler only a couple of the tracks are really what you would call "classic" striptease music. I have a couple of them ripped to MP3 in my collection. The instrumental parts in her rendition of "Guy What Takes His Time" are filthy

Shame about the slighty hatstand voiceover but nice crowd effects and seriously hot drums and brass. Would love to find a pure instrumental version of this.

Looked on Spotify and it comes from an album called Wowsville/After Hours by Big Bob Taylor but it sounds the same as above.

Another case in point -- There's a scene in a Doris Day film (I think it's "Send Me No Flowers") where Doris gets her bathrobe caught in a locked door, and with no other option to free herself, she takes off the robe, while we get a snatch of strippy music with some nice drum beats. I'd love to have a "full version" of that, but I doubt it exists -- I'm guessing that the little passage for that gag in the film "is all she wrote" (literally).

Songs with Words?
Mosh's "That's When the Stripper Starts to Blush" made me wonder if there are any other good tunes out there where the stripper is singing alluring words to the audience? Of course there's "Let me Entertain You" from Gypsy, and "Take It All" from Nine, but I was wondering about others with possibly raunchier and more suggestive lyrics -- I know I've seen performers put words to "The Stripper", but I can't find them now, damn YouTube's search engine. "All For You" is kind of closer to what I have in mind, but that song ruins it by her screaming "I'm gonna EXPLODE!" on every refrain -- Also not enough drums on that one.
Anyway, just wondered if you guys knew of anything like that...? |

There used to be a video of Dita Von Teese performing (or miming to) Mae West's "A Guy What Takes His Time" on YT. I believe the song is originally from Dita's "Soundtrack For Seduction" very limited edition LP. The YT video has been taken down on copyright grounds but a Google video search will still find it on a number of dodgy looking Russian sites, none of which I care to click on. The music itself is pure raunch and is very much in the same vein as the Mosh number: First half with lyrics followed by an instrumental second half for stripping. I have an MP3 version of it in my collection. Despite being someone who generally avoids stripteases to songs with lyrics, I really like this one.

Thanks, Stroking! As someone who has been criticized various times in my life for taking too long to do things, I find this song really therapeutic.
