Talking of the managerial merry-go-round, the speculation amongst Chelski supporters would apparently have a certain large Spanish manager, er, waiting to take over at Stamford Bridge. Meanwhile, some of the Blue faithful would apparently welcome the return of Jose M...damn but it must be dreadful there at the mo!!

I watched Utd v PSG and once they lost Lingard & Martial it was basically game over.

The stationary Sanchez left Utd with ten men and PSG stepped up a gear in the second half, while defensively problems are still there, you can get by in the PL but at this level it will not take long to be found out.

Hello my name's Lee Mason and that's a penalty.

It seems the journos are keeping reasonably quite. I don't think the outcome would have been much different if either Poch, Pep, or Zidane had been in charge, Ole can only work with what's in front of him.

In all honesty I don't think the outcome would have been much different had they stayed on the pitch Vic, Tuesday night was a blunt reminder of how far we have fallen behind the best teams in Europe, and for once the media cannot blame the manager.

Ole has a mediocre squad apart from two or three players, all the talk of bringing in One central defender is very shortsighted, we need two top flight central defenders, and a decent right-back.

We need a quality defensive midfielder, Pogba has to drop back far too often to bolster a feeble defence, it's been working in the Premiership (so far) under Ole against the average teams, but we have had a fair bit of luck in the last three league games.
I expect us to come up short against the better teams like Liverpool and City in the coming weeks.

We are not even close to being able to compete with the best Premiership sides, never mind the cream of Europe.
The top European players are not attracted to United anymore, we generally pay over the odds for domestic level players who earn the same at OT as the world's best.

Unless United spend big again(as well as having a clear out), it will probably be two or three summer transfer windows before we acquire a squad that can compete for major honours.

As I have previously said Ad nauseam, the changes need to start at the very top, the Glazer's can't afford to run the club, sell it to the 'oil men' and let's see what happens.

Why do we reward failure, not just in football, but business as well? Jose and his team of inadequates have been paid almost £20 million in compensation, surely if your sacked you are not up to standard, normal people get a P45 and an escort out of the building.

Or go into politics; you can be as utterly unfit for purpose as you want, in politics...

Man U - barely used 50% of their income towards salaries - no wonder they've made so many large blunders - compared to others - but not to them

You can afford to be stupid

Dumb part 1 - signing defensive managers who havent won trophies / who have won trophies
BUT none of which play the United way

Dumb part 2 - allow the new light weight Manager whose never won anything worthwhile to remove the entire backroom while giving him a 6 year deal

Dumb part 3 - sign players who hate the UK climate on ridiculous wages

Dumb part 4 - dont appoint some vastly experienced ex-player whose
been around the club for umpteen years on a rolling one year contract from the start

or make a profit
The way those two have landed, with prime international jobs, this may be his plan all along!

And they wonder why we boo the euro anthem, VAR is still open to bias.
The first pen...you are having a laugh.
It's just another cup to us...nothing special, just sponsors want it! sure we want to win it, but it's just a cup.
Hard to win for the British teams, no idea why though?

VAR is taking too long to make a decision, what happened to clear and obvious. As for handball in the penalty area deliberate no longer matters.
