Capitalism and greed show that the informed capitalist leaders and shareholders are nothing else as the same monsters as Stalin or Beria. The same. They behave like tyrants in wanting more dirty benefits.

In selling a cheap smartphone, cheap oil, cheap clothes, cheap commodities in general, they contribute to exploit human misery, animal massacre, environmental destruction all around the world.

And what are used to tell the leaders elected by the common people?
Growth, growth, growth.

All these ugly stories prove that Capitalist market is made on blood and tears.
In defending their leaders, capitalist stooges suffer from the Stockholm's syndrome.
Today the majority of crimes against humanity are not the fact of Stalinism, but Capitalism.

I don't think any of us ever said that, we just don't believe in blindly following the words of an underachieving dreamer, no matter how smart he may have been.

I repeat there will never be a true Marxist state as whoever is elected leader will soon realise they like the power and like every pseudo-Marxist state to date will revert to totalitarianism.

Marx spent too much time thinking and maybe forgot the important human element. As soon as someone is put in charge of anything they change, it is human nature and always has been.

Marx analysed the process of capitalism. But we don't need to read Marx to destroy this unfair and dangerous process.

We only need to follow Jesus Christ or Buddha theories.

As a baptized Catholic, in my opinion, what seems more developped in Buddhism, it's the aspect of meditation, that Christianism never spoke about.

Human nature can change in working on its spirit thanks meditation.
Today in the USA thanks to electroencephalogram, some scientists seem to observe that Buddhist monks and Cistercian monks manage better concentration and wishes than common people.

As you can get stronger muscles in lifting weights everyday, you can become less dependant of your pulsions thanks to meditation.

You can buy or download two or three good books that can give you good ideas about Buddhist philosophy, without becoming a monk and learning all the "outdated" stories.

We all have to be Marxist.

Yes but it doesn't change what I think although I like the Monty Python look of it.
He had some decent ideas as have many Capitalists but Marx had no practical solutions as to how to achieve them.
He was a theorist and I repeat again his theories ALWAYS fail when put into practice because they do not take human nature into account.

I don't disagree we need a new solution, but Marxism or Communism is definitely not the answer.

He actually wasn't defending greed, it's just the twisted slant you choose to put on it.

You said that maybe if only we followed Buddhist doctrines then all would be well.
Mal just gave a few examples of how Buddhists can also be bastards.

The Dalai Lama may condemn violence committed by his more thuggish followers but again it's not in human nature to follow beliefs to the letter.

The Pope may also condemn the mass ranks of child abusers that lurk in the priesthood, but you can be sure that plenty work has gone into covering up much of the abuse.
