The Flaming Lips - Do you realize?
Do you realize - I just love this song - it can bring the hardest hearted of folk down to their knees.
Is it just me or is there something really Beatles-lennonesque about its lyrical honesty? Do you realize That you have the most beautiful face? Do you realize We're floating in space? Do you realize That happiness makes you cry? Do you realize That everyone you know someday will die? And instead of saying all of your goodbyes Let them know you realize that life goes fast It's hard to make the good things last You realize the sun doesn't go down It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round Do you realize? That everyone you know someday will die? Do you realize That you have the most beautiful face? Do you realize? Original version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zYOKFjpm9s Storming Live version in 2009: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pP1j00HC-PQ Enjoy

Double Bang. 65.
Thee Michelle Gun Elephant, "Yoyogi Riot!", 2001. Japanese Voyeurs, "Yolk", 2011. Guitars! To celebrate the 2020 Atomic Olympics in Tokyo! Japanese Thee Michelle Gun Elephant was/still is my all time favorite garage/punk band : non-stop basic riffs, efficient singer, classy high energy. To see them live (in Tokyo, 2001) is just great.. To listen with headphones. Japanese Voyeurs was an English arty/grungy band featuring the insanely cute lead singer/guitarist Romily Alice. TMGE splitted in 2003, Japanese Voyeurs in 2012 : when things go bad... TMGE -シトロエンの孤独 = Citroën No KodoKu = Citroën Loneliness Japanese Voyeurs -Dumb
