Avast: "Threat Detected"

Got this this morning while cruising the Farrah Fawcett thread. Never saw it before.

Threat secured
We've safely aborted connection on www.imagebam.com because it was
infected with JS.Downloader-FHY[Trj]

I'm getting this from both those hosts as well.
Imagevenue is fine.

I am getting the same message opening ImageBam and ImgBox scans. I just posted using ImageVenue and there was not virus alert pop up. I hope this gets fixed!

I "solved" the problem by adding *imagebam* to the ignore list. Of course, that doesn't address that which caused the problem in the first place. Hopefully it's a false positive and a definition update will take care of it.

I let Bam / Box tech support know in case it is not a false positive.

I just started having the same issues w/imagebam and imgbox, did a full system and root scan and found nothing.

There are more reports on the net, on AVG and Avast forums among others, apparently it started earlier today/yesterday. I found this reply on an online game site:

"Hey there!

Our web team is aware of the issue and it appears to be a false flag. We're working with the ad provider to get this sorted out.

Thanks for the reports!"
