pics missing in my threads, as far back as 2012 if not further. If IV is saying
that the only uploads affected were the most recent ones.....they're lying.

In the last days the following problem occured often:

When I click on a pic a Livejasmin ad pops up with a link above "Click to continue to pic" but nothing happens.

What is wrong? Can anyone help? I use a MAC OS X 10.4.11 (I know it is vintage.)

I reloaded 16 images two days ago, in four post, four pictures for post.

Yesterday I went back to check and all images, unless 2, were gone again.

I went to reload them all.

Hours later disappeared again almost all.

I have returned to reload all, and still all survive.

It's like ... if all this wasn't the result of chance or accident. It has all the appearance of being intentional, absolutely.

I don't know the purpose or motive.

Maybe that German forum isn't misguided.

Huh??? Using Google translate, it sounded like to me, someone that
came online for the first time ever and started getting porn pop-ups,
that he claims are pedophilia in nature. Which frankly......I believe is
load of BS. After being at this site for 5 years, I've clicked on I"m sure
no less than 100 different pic hosting site hosted photos, and each and
every one of them were being supported by one form of porn or another...
none of which that I ever saw, ever had a thing to do with pedophilia.

Its makes little difference either way

Its not like we havent had similar scenarios before

Freeimagehost .eu died entirely 2007/8

The hack killed most of the attachments - I seem to recall the figure of 30% of content

In recent times the January 2 week cluster crash wiped out everything posted in that period

As bad as those seemed at the time we got beyond them

Those that want to help re-up will do so and those that have had enough wont

The upside is all those dead pics hiding behind many many thumbnails will be replaced over time where as up till this problem occured they only got removed when a thread was cleaned or the original uploader edited in fresh replacements.

Working out whats dead will be the real issue
- a lot of dead bbcode judging by my gutted collection Id thread

Indeed. I tend to think this is part of the perception of widespread kiddie porn; people think they're seeing something they're not and declare they have seen it. It would be interesting to see stats on how many reports to the IWF etc are subsequently found to be false alarms; but we never do.

Anyway I'm in this thread because I have a bunch of browser tabs set to open up on particular images and all the imgvenue ones are still dead. Some report no image on the server, some can't find the server. Looks like a total wipeout.

I have noticed that in the left bottom corner where messages are stated whilst when surfing around sometimes this sentences appears:

I may be far off in this, but can this be causing the recent problems?

Using browser pale moon (avast! free antivirus) with firefox add-ons, i have now temporary disabled that handy "Search by image (by google)" ad-on to be on the safe side.

There were also problems lately with google chrome..

i do not know for sure, as i am not a PC wizard at all, as already said just a gut feeling
