Just watched the second season episode Knockout last night on MeTV. I enjoyed the episode but really thought it fell apart at the end. Was anyone else disappointed that we didn't get a Lynda Carter/Jayne Kennedy cat-fight and that Wonder Woman just talked Jayne's character to give herself up at the end? Especially since Steve had been trying to talk her into giving up her plan during the episode. Of course, I would have liked for Lynda and Jayne to have kissed and made up.

I have heard that some females stars didn't like other pretty girls on their shows, so I think it is great that Lynda was secure enough in her own beauty and charm that she didn't mind Jayne being a guest star.

I'd have to get my collection out to review it, but off the top of my head, let's see: Debra Winger, Lorene Yarnell(of Shields and Yarnell), Eve Plumb. Lynda Carter had many beautiful women guest starring on her show. The few times she was on Paradise Island there were many, many beautiful women playing the Amazons. Lynda Carter was humble and classy in that respect.

Yeah, and Lynda Day George was considered a sex symbol back then, too, and she was Fausta, the Nazi Superwoman. Was Gretchen Corbett supposed to be a sex symbol back then? She was on an episode, too. I guess Lynda was secure enough in her beauty not to be threatened. On the blu-ray for Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw, one of Lynda's female co-stars mentioned the she knew no one would be looking at her with Lynda in the cast.

Pamela Susan Shoop was in both the pilot, and the two-part "Feminum Mystique" episode, essentially playing the same Amazon character. I don't recall seeing her in the second season premiere, but if she was, that made her tied with Debra Winger, if not surpassing her, as the second most appearances by an actress other than Lynda Carter as an Amazon.

Having seen repeats of this recently, it's odd to find that the 2nd series is a bit of a reboot to put her in a more modern set-up, and her alias now seems a lot more of an equal than just a meek secretary.

My fave episode is the one with Frank Gorshin as the toymaker who creates a WW double

LDG was quite the number and the scene where Fausta is tied up is still memorable in my mind. She was recently at an expo in the NE and she still is quite an attractive woman.
