In quite a few of my posts I find the note "last edited by", followed by a moderators name, and then as reason "c"

What is reason c? Culling dead images?

Just curious.

Send a PM to the moderator in question and ask them what it means. That way you'll know for sure.

Hey folks!!

Got the same "problem", a couple of times a few of my posts were edited by moderators with just "reason c"!! Nothing else!!
And I realized same thing quite often at other posts from different users aswell!!

So dear mods, what's the story behind that ominous "reason c"
It's not a conspiracy theory, or is it?

My guess is that "C" stands for copyright, but who knows..... except for the mods....

But why can't you tell us, when we "regular" users post something, that for any reason is against any rule here at VEF, why you deleted/edited it!!

I mean come on, how can I avoid in my future posts, that I will post something, that might be against the rules, if you guys telling me only the reason for deleting/editing my last post is a letter from a-z worth for an answer!! How the F..k should I know what to do better next time?!?!

You should owe us at least more than a letter for why you are editing our posts!! Please!!

And believe me, I always accept any decisions of any mod when it comes to the rules of VEF and I always try to follow it, as best as I can, but please don't just let me guess what maybe has been wrong with any of my posts!?!

I would really appreciate it!!

It's been suggested to me that mods use this just as a marker to label threads as "cleaned". The post in question may not have been modified at all. So far, that's mere speculation though.

Cause the ImageVenue crash there are a lot of void post.

Each Mod, after clening the thread, mark the first post as "thread cleaned". This is an info for the collegues and means: "do no waste your time".

I modified several my first post and, in the reason, I added my reason and I reported also the original "Reason: "c".
