Users of Russian social networks think the same. There is already a joke that this souvenir symbolizes the fate of the Russian football team at the upcoming championship

Has the Russian government released any information about the current environment of Novaya Zemlya?

Does anyone still live in or near Hiroshima or Nagasaki?

I'm just too ruddy lazy to g**gle that. Can you tell?

Both are densely populated big cities.

But from what i remember, that's because both bombs exploded above these cities, not on ground level, and that would make a big difference in the long term.

Where do hip young Russians want to live -- cities, neighborhoods?

EG, I'm looking for "what is the Russian equivalent of Brooklyn/Portland/Austin" -- trendy places, not so much rich as they are the flavor of the moment.

I'm guessing it would be specific places in Moscow or Leningrad, but which? Or other cities? is there some smaller city that's got energy?

Young Russians want to live in Moscow, because this city is the center of concentration of money and entertainment. If young people do not have the opportunity to move to Moscow, they are trying to move to a big city. In russian towns and villages reigns despondency and hopelessness. There's little pay and no entertainment. But the fate of the provincial youth who come to Moscow is usually unenviable: they spend most of their wages on rent and food and send it to their parents. But many visitors from the russian province agree to such conditions.

It sounds like Russia life is not much different than U.S. Our small rural towns are littered with alcoholics and drug addicts.

I think that economic and cultural inequality between cities and towns/villages is typical for many countries, including developed ones.

Ekaterinburg, May 30. Deceived shareholders, kneeling, ask Putin to help them to achieve justice (in Russia fraud in share construction is very widespread).

Quite an interesting article. I doubt that there will be any serious riots in the upcoming World Cup. A new generation of Russian hooligans are athletes who are not always interested in football. Their theme - a fight with the same athletes somewhere in the woods. Almost all russian top - firms are under the control of the police, which works very hard. I don't think guys want to get into serious trouble with the law. Russian prisons are hell on earth.
