This American model/actress little cutie was born as Pauline Mac Donald in Los Angeles, California on June 5, 1919 and died at the age of 81 on August 23, 2000. Marjorie became Maybelline's make-up model starting at the age of 15, having that "All-American" and Girl-Next-Door image that they were looking for at the time.
Having been discovered by 20th Century Fox, they were attempting to groom her into being the next Jean Harlow blonde bombshell, and though she was given only minor roles and bit parts in a number of films her acting career disappointingly never thrived or blossomed.
However, in addition to Betty Grable, Marjorie did become a favorite GI Pin-up Girl during World War II, driving the youth-market to purchase truck loads of Maybelline products.
