Preferably, accompanied by hanging some from lampposts and burning a few at the stake. This ought to inspire their replacements to do a better job. As a longtime Democratic voter I volunteer to choose the Democrats to be purged.

I've read that people who work for the government won't get paid during this shutdown. Does that include all those senators and politicians? (i'm guessing no)

The President and Congress continues to get paid. So does Social Security and other programs. Here's a link.

Just FYI. The President does not get paid, he did not accept a salary for his Presidential work

By constitutional law he cannot decline the salary so he will continue to be paid. He says he's donating most of the salary but other than the NPS donation, there are no other records of where the money is supposed to go.

Just to be clear Schumer, Pelosi, Feinstein, and Maxine Waters are on my list, but Republicans need to include McConnell, Paul Ryan, and Rand Paul. Ted Cruz is your call.
