It's the same here. I think it's a status thing - "look at me, I'm tough coz I got a staffie, innit?"

Sadly there are many people who do think having a Staffie means they are hard.
Staffies are the best of dogs, don't blame them because they attract the worst of owners. |

There's nothing like a Rottweiler
Unfortunately i don't have one, since i live in a small city apartment. That would be animal cruelty.
My girlfriend loves poodles and yorkshire terrier, but for me these aren't real dogs. In Germany we say Fußhupe, wich means foot horn. Well, somehow they are still lovable. |

always with yorkies for some reason. I am sure there are some perfectly nice ones somewhere, but i have rarely met one. But if their owners love them, I say good for them, all dogs need love, and I am sure there are enough positives for yorkie owners to have them, to make them worthy of respect. I have met more sweet pit bulls, then i have sweet Yorkies, by roughly about 15 to 1. (you never hear about packs of rabid Yorkies mauling people to death) |

I've had more dogs than I can remember and loved 'em all! But the one that is head and shoulders above all the other is most certainly the Rottweiler. I have two at the moment. They are extremely intelligent, obedient and gives meaning to the cliche of 'man's best friend'. So I am 100% with you, Nobody1.
