elsy steinberg and movie name, elaine stewart...............She was a policeman's daughter in New Jersey, as i recall, who was drop dead beautiful but just a so-so actress, who was spotted and signed to a Hollywood contract. She lived in Hollywood most of her adult life, hob nobbing with good looking guys, including many movie stars, but never was credited for her acting ability. 'Course, nobody cared, just satisfied seeing her on the big screen looking glamorous and making out with Richard Widmark, John Derek, Mickey Rooney, and other big names of the 50's and 60's.

Her signature look was that peek a boo hair style which added to the glamour. Though her hair was not easily adaptable to the style, she never appeared w/o looking as though she just stepped out of the local beauty parlor!
