Indeed, but it reads like a excerpt from Trumpian play-book, don't worry about facts, suggest the facts, assert them as FACTS and muddy the argument.

Unfortunately, since you can always find something if you look hard enough, these tactics can work. If Americans chose to be the Fraud's grade 4 rhetoric, admire his sick bullying, and ultimately believe that the end justify the means, we can mark that day as the end of the shortest world hegemony in history 25 years.

If the FBI were genuinely seeking to influence the outcome of the November 2016 presidential election against Donald Trump, then the public announcement that they were contemplating a renewed investigation into Mrs Clinton's emails, so close to the date of the final vote, does not make much sense. I think it is more likely that the Feebs were just doing what they do.

The NY Post has been a cheerleader for Trump and the Conservative agenda. There is a move afoot by the Republicans to try to make the FBI an agent of their agenda and to politicize what has has traditionally been a strictly non-partisan agency. As part of this they are trying to derail the investigation into the Trump and his associates connections to Russia.

I hadn't believed that the Trump & Russia thing was anything major, but Trump's actions indicate he's hiding something. The efforts of Nunes and the Republican leadership to suppress the investigation started after they were given access to classified information. Now we know that many of the people around Trump were being investigated before the election. The British agent compiling the dossier on Trump became alarmed and notified the FBI of troubling connections. It seems the FBI may have already been investigating Trump and sons for Russian money laundering and now Jared and Ivanka have been sucked into the probe. Worse, it looks like Page, Manafort, and Gates at least were stealing from their Russian and Ukrainian clients. There are too many leaks for a cover-up to work. This could get very ugly very fast now.

Funny, I was just watching a Jordan Peterson video discussing the "anti-science, anti-fact, and anti-truth" agenda emerging from the right. In his and my opinion this is just as dangerous as the leftist PC notion that those who disagree with them do not have the right to express their opinion and are automatically racist, misogynist, or homophobic. Kind of hard to have free discussion and enquiry under these constraints.
