LOL , I agree, recently, cinema industry is very greedy more than what it needs, besides,I feel that they started to have less ideas for movies,so remakes are their only way to continue with the career.

I agree with frefredburger on the choices he picked out there. I heard that they will be re-booting Spiderman again. I'm glad they remade 'Batman' again but 'Star Trek'? Nah, not for me.

I thought the new Star Trek trounced all over the original - it was funny, action packed and rattled along at a great pace. But then, I've never been a Star Trek fan.

I think that was the point of the new Star Trek movie and in that sense it worked. Me? I love Trek (Wouldn't say I'm an anorak though) but I grew up with original films. It really is personal choice.

As a big fan of Batman I was impressed by how good the latest reboot is, the Batmobile chase in Batman Begins was just wonderful, wish I had seen it in the cinema, a mistake I made up for when viewing The Dark Knight on its first day of release

Agree on The Thing, haven't seen the Hulk.

I thought "Let Me In" was fairly good, although the original "Let The Right One In" was much better!

C'mon now.

Joel and Ethan did a kick-ass job with TG.

After seeing the new TG a couple times I rewatched the old TG, then went out and
found the book, then rewatched both movie versions. While both movies follow the
storyline, the new TG provides much more detail, and virtually all the dialogue comes
straight from the book.

JMHO, YMMV.
