Sounds bit like Captain Paranoia to me. I predict that neither of the above will be the outcome. There will certainly be a lot more of the terrorism we have experienced already and there will also be sporadic retaliation, because human nature works this way. But the idea that the Muslim minority in any European cultural country has it in their power to "force you their way" does not need to be taken seriously. Neither does the notion of a full blown civil war, a war which the vast majority of Muslims in European cultural countries have no interest in fighting, any more than the vast majority of non Muslims.

For sure there is a grave terrorism threat and the state has to be organised and vigilant to protect the citizens, including most Muslims, from this threat. States which cannot enforce security will be made to fail by the disloyal and violent scum element. These are the states which are at risk of civil war due to Islamo-Fascist terrorism. I am quite sure that future atrocities and attempted atrocities will happen. But they have happened for hundreds of years and here we still are. I recommend that we retain our sense of proportion.

I hope you're right, but with Sharia courts, Islamic schools, the government and the media hand in glove with the Islamization of Europe I don't see European culture surviving for more than about 30-50 years.

Assuming, for a moment, that the worst was true... What could possibly be done to prevent them from seizing 'too much' power? If they have many babies, they cling rabidly to islam, they don't mind using violence... what could stop them?

Forced expulsion of known radicals, tighter rules regarding associating with terrorists (preemptive expulsion), severely reducing immigration from the less tolerant muslim countries, paying countries (Turkey) to accept the unwanted... what else?

I fear there is a war of some kind coming, where even the most liberal person wouldn't object to an extreme response after enough bombings... or a general dread where Euro women have to worry about getting attacked for wearing skirts, and the men are simply too outnumbered to do anything about it.

Only the recognition that Islam is not a religion and total refusal to accord it religious rights followed by deportation of any who object.
Perhaps forced assimilation with determination to deport those who object to it would work; probably most if not all muslims deported after riots and widespread violence.
It's already past the point where this can be done with existing government because people are so afraid to make muslims angry.

You're right there will be some sort of uprising where even the most delusional will see what is happening to them; this may well be put down by government. Even right now it's not hard to imagine the Islamist mayor of London ordering police and troops to 'defend' muslims by attacking native Brits.

I'm not talking up, just describing what will happen when those with the intestinal fortitude stand up to domination by Islam.

Deport muslims who refuse assimilation to any country that will take them. Surely the compassionate muslim countries will accept their brothers and sisters. Pay the countries to take them, cheap at any price.

Islam not a religion is difficult as it has been accorded such rights for so long; again strict assimilation rules may suffice if backed up by force and deportation. it's not too late for that if stalwartly enforced.
It might be that governments are a few large attacks away from implementing such.

I refuse to cave to the boogeyman of Muslim domination. Europe has faced the specter of Islam for over 13 centuries without succumbing. Islamic hordes started invading when Europe was a cultural, economic, political, and technological backwater and the Islamic states were among the dominant and most advanced civilizations. After the Mongols and Black Death steam rolled the Muslim world, militant Islamic fundamentalism took hold and the Middle East became a backward Third World region. The vast majority of Muslims are emigrating because they want the goodies the West provides and are quite willing to adjust their religious beliefs in the same way way that Christians, other than bible-thumping fundamentalists, have done. Repeat, most Muslims are fleeing the Middle East to get away from these a__holes. Our surveillance techniques are improving and we will get better at rounding up the bad actors before they cause harm.

(Note to the United States, fundamentalist Christians and white supremacists will turn you into an ignorant backwater, too, if you let them.)

BTW, the dirty little secret of Daesh is that it is not really an indigenous movement. Much of the manpower is supplied by Kazakhs, Kyrgyzes and Uzbeks. Hence, local Sunnis are very willing to execute their captured soldiers when they are defeated. It is also why they fight so hard when surrounded. They know no mercy can be expected from the people they have been terrorizing.
