thunderfly, the latest Opera is also not compatible with XP. I found this out when I kept tryting to install the what was the 'latest' version a couple of months ago. I can't get any later than V36.00.

My version is also version 36.00 but it does seem to be more stable than Chrome was and it doesn't have that annoying message at the top about no longer updating every time you go online. Chrome can go take a running jump.

Clear your cache by going in your C:// hardrive files.
Google chrome follows everywhere , and put commercials relative to web pages you visited on those you visit. (facebook include).
Don't clear via your webbrowser.
Clear your files manually.

I couldn't imagine, that of all things a GOOGLE browser would respect ones privacy.

But I also learned, that the Anglo - Americans are having a bigger tolerance in case of what is privacy or not as we do.

An update.
Just found out that startpage/ixquick track what you're doing.
Proceed with care.

Startpage now belongs to System1/Privacy One, an known advert-company - that's all the story you can tell...

What is Startpage's relationship with Privacy One/System1 and what does this mean for my privacy protections?
