Well bartender, today has been okay, I nipped off to have a nice big pizza with a lady friend in a place called Amersham. For the record that is the furthest you can get on the London Underground system.

Jolly pleasant it was too, barring the few rain showers that punctuated the sunshine. But my problem is, bartender, that I noticed how darned tired I am - almost exhausted. Caring for an elderly parent really takes it out of you - even sleeping with one ear open just in case you're needed.

So what do you suggest? Hard liquor's out so I'm thinking of pills if I ask my doctor nicely - just till I feel a bit better. Does anyone have any experience of what works without making you a dependent zombie? Advice appreciated.
