Anyone here remember the report that BBC's Panorama did when John Sweeney completely lost the plot with a Scientology spokesman? Great bit of television that but showed the supercilious spokesman was hardly phased by Sweeney's outburst. Does that mean wall to wall Tom Cruise films will be shown?😀

The spokesman was Tommy Davies who is the son of Anne Archer. She is also a scilon. Sweeney's book, The Church of Fear, is a great read. He did actually get under Davies' skin and there is a video of it. Scientologists go through a training routine where they are shouted at and insulted to the extent where they learn not to flinch. Scientologists were filming everything that went on. Davies has since left.

Sweeney and his team were tailed by scilons wherever they went, which is a common sci tactic. They told Sweeney that they wanted him to only talk to Sci's and not former sci's and critics. Sweeney refused this and went to meet a former sci. His team tried to shake the sci's tailing him and met the guy in a multi story car park. During the interview Davies turned up and started to tell Sweeney that the guy he was talking to was a sexual pervert and tried to show him his criminal record.
One of Davies' team was Mike Rinder. Rinder left scientology and is now an arch critic and friend of Sweeney. He co-hosts Scientology and the Aftermath. Rinder was high up in the 'church' and was one of the execs in the infamous hole.

I seem to recall John Sweeney on When Television Goes Wrong saying that was a lot more to that outburst than people think. When the Scientologists learnt that the BBC was investigating them, they got snoops to follow their cars and watch them in their hotels.

Another huge child rapist case in the UK. Obviously, one of the worst ever discovered. And just as in the Rotherham case, the British police and youth protection authorities actively and deliberately protected the perpetrators for years. Marc Dutroux sends his regards.

The case will fade as usual since the underlying system seems to be rotten and corrupt to the core. Simply unreformable. I guess, for this reason, there will be many more such and similar headlines in the future. You can bet the false teeth of your old granny on it.
