Depositfiles Problems

DF has been rather slow, especially in web page loading, for several days. Now they're down to a crawl in downloading...5-10 KB/sec speeds, literally days as estimates for downloading files of any size. This is beyond the usual congestion during busy time. Has anyone else seen this issue? Thanks in advance.

My issue is "server not found" every time , deleted cookies , history and all . But nothing happens.

If you have an issue its makes more sense to link to 1 post so it can be tested

Hosts use multiple servers so its easy for many to have no issues while others do

Thats before you even get to the minefield of what OS / browser / add-ons your using and the conflicts with 3rd party security software firewalls , anti-virus etc.

Slow speeds would either be an over taxed server or a conflict

Any depositfiles link that opens with a number 25 count down is dead

General advice - Trouble shooting inaccessible file / image hosts

Thanks again for the suggestions...DF has been very slow for me, while other sites have been fine, for several days now. One link in particular, posted here, took 2 days to download. Others have had no problems with DF, as I've been reminded on 3 separate occasions. It could be down to one overseas router at my ISP, perhaps. Having a small ISP makes it difficult to do much reproducibility testing, however.

So, if anyone has any other links to DF that might be used to isolate the problem, perhaps beyond a single file, please post them. Thanks.

DF is one of the few hosts i DON'T have problems with.

usually like 60k/s but at least it hangs in there. most of the rest crash before completion.

today i was actually getting 380k/s on DF! i had to keep pinching myself -- i don't think i've ever seen anything CLOSE to that before.

bitshare, otoh, routinely gets numbers like that. on those rare occasions it doesn't CRASH, that is....

I can get Depositfiles to load but once it starts counting down to download,the whole page freezes up and nothing seems to work.

Linking a to a file so others can test a file might help

Assuming it wasnt a one off issue on the host ie server overloaded

The 25 second countdown means a file is dead

If its the 5-60 second countdown then its most likely a browser add-on conflict
or a long shot would be your security software.

Starting your browser with all add-ons disabled (safemode via help in most browsers)
might solve it - script blockers that interfere with the captcha codes running fully
can appear to make the screen appear frozen.

I think its the any clip ad underneath the countdown that freezes up and the countdown stops. Im using Firefox and its froze up but I tried it with IE and the file worked just fine.

It's 3-4 days that I can't reach DF for what I need it: Upload and My files. Page opens, I can surf through, but when I click upload button nothing happens. When trying to open My files page starts loading, but never ends, so I can't see and pick up links. Also, when trying to download, after clicking Download nothing happens. Any idea?
I use winXP, Chrome, Adblock off, cleaned temp. folder, Bitdefender & Malwarebytes (on and off). Thanks in advance.
